42’ hinckley - Located in Portsmouth, RI

SWEET CAROLINE is an excellent example of the Hinckley 42’ Daysailer which that was designed by Bruce King to carry six to eight adults in comfort and safety for robust day sailing in a wide variety of sea conditions. An innovative hydraulically operated lifting keel offers a minimum draft of 4’0” making the DS 42 accessible to lesser traveled shallow anchorages.

With her hydraulically operated winches, the DS 42 offers the single-handed sailor the opportunity to command a modern powerful sloop with ease.

Typical Hinckley construction includes a carbon fiber spar and Dual-Guard construction in the hull that combines Kevlar and carbon fiber for maximum strength and stiffness.
